"ALABAMA SLAMMER 1 oz. Southern Comfort 1/2 oz. sloe gin 1 oz. amaretto 1/2 oz. lemon juice Pour into highball glass over rocks. Stir."

This drink was likely given it's name because of it's ingredients, southern comfort. Southern Comfort might be the proprietors of this drink, although there is no literature suggesting this. This drink belongs to the southern comfort era. This drink also appears in :
